NW YOVEL FESTIVAL
Featuring Jonathan Settel
Northwest Yovel Jubilee will return to Esther Short Park in Vancouver, Washington on Sunday, August 1 – 10:30 am to 5:30 pm. Sponsored by Rehoboth Messianic Congregation, the event aims to excite people about the Jewish roots of Christian faith and will have a decidedly Israeli feel. Headed by Pastor David Sumner and his wife Ellie, this year’s theme is “Victory” and is based on a scripture in 1 Chronicles 29:11:
“Yours, ADONAI, is the greatness, the power, the glory, the victory and the majesty…”
Internationally known Messianic artist, Jonathan Settel will be the feature act this year. Jonathan is a man after the heart of G.d. He ministers extensively worldwide, bringing us back to our Jewish roots through Messianic expressions of worship and teachings. Through the music artistry of Settel, we can touch the Heart of G.d and feel the arms of Messiah Yeshua surround us.
The event will also include the Rehoboth Dance team and several Messianic dance groups from around the Northwest. There will be opportunities throughout the day for attendees to participate in learning a dance or two.
In addition to stage presentations, several vendors from around the Northwest will be selling their wares. Hand-crafted items, unique embroidery, Judaica, books & CDs, as well as items from Israel will be featured. The food booth will sell hummus wraps, all-beef hot dogs and drinks with the proceeds going to Open Door Ministries in Vancouver and Joseph Storehouse in Israel. There will also be face painting for the children.
Esther Short Park is located at 301 W. 8th St. in Vancouver, WA 98660.
