| MJIF NASCAR Benefit Drive 2009! Dotti Solomon 14 Jan 2009 | | MJIF NASCAR Benefit Drive 2009! We are thrilled to let you know the next MJIF NASCAR Benefit Drive will take place on April 26th at the Atlanta Motor Speedway. Every other year the MJIF sponsors 12 drivers for a NASCAR benefit to aid the poor in Israel.
The drivers will drive eight (8) laps around the track at speeds between 100-145 MPH (and we do it legally!). Not bad for a 69 year old grandmother. Each driver raises pledges for the benefit and it all goes to the Messianic Jewish community in Israel. Example:
$1.00 pledged for each MPH driven equals $100.00 (if your driver goes 100 MPH)$10.00 pledged for each 8 laps around the track will equal $80.00 (if your driver goes all eight laps).
Be sure to send your pledge to support this exciting fast-moving event. Pledge card coming soon! For more information contact info@mjif.org
MJIF VIDEO: Send for the new MJIF Video made in Israel on our last trip. The video is 13 minutes long and gives a good look at what the MJIF does in Israel. The video is shown in meetings around the country whenever I go to speak in Churches and other organizations. If you would like to order the MJIF video to show your Pastor or Bible study group, you may order it from the MJIF Website.
