Second Annual “Aliyah” Mini Conference held in Canton, Ohio By: MDN Staff Writer 04 Feb 2010 | | The STAR in the East Messianic Congregation Canton, Ohio's first and oldest Messianic Congregation will be hosting its Second Annual mini-conference “Aliyah” Saturday May 1, 2010. The conference will begin at 10:00am with a Shabbat celebration. This will be followed by classes taught by local Messianic Rabbis. During the afternoon Ralph and Mindy Seta from Dance Camps International will be hosting our afternoon dance workshop. The conference will be capped off with an evening concert with Sue Samuel. There will be no registration fees to attend the conference however, offerings will be received after each class, workshop and concert. |

Gaines 03 Feb 2010 | | A Messianic evangelist believes revival is breaking out among Jewish communities in the U.S. Sid Roth, founder of Georgia-based Messianic Vision and host of the It's Supernatural television broadcast, said he has seen dozens of Jewish Americans profess faith in Christ in recent months during evangelistic events in New York and California. -Last summer in Brighton Beach, N.Y., nearly 400 Russian Jews reportedly attended an evangelistic meeting billed as a lecture on the paranormal. People were healed, Roth said, including a wheelchair-bound woman who had not been able to walk for five years. |

As informed by “European Belarus” website, Ivan Mikhajlau was found guilty of a criminal offence “for draft evasion”. Ivan Mikhajlau denied to do compulsory military service as it is contrary to his religious believes. He demanded to be assigned to civilian alternative service, in line with Article 57 of Belarus' Constitution. Besides, Ivan Mikhajlau is the elder son in a family with many children, and he helps to support the family considerably. |
